Defining Characteristics
Cautious -- Excitable -- Nervous
Nyss is a very young, cautious dragon. When he first joined Wayward, he had never been on a boat before. He stuck to the hold for most of the first week, and a few bad storms they hit did not help in aiding him in taming his nervous disposition. He took a while to break out of his shell and get (arguably) comfortable on the boat, but he now is one of the best.
Nyss is the crew-member who always warns people about potential issues before they happen- and he tends to be right. He's gained a reputation as being overly nervous and anxious because of this, but most will admit he's helped them previously. He gets very excited over small things, though he tends to try to hide this behind an exterior of his normal nervous self except to others in the clan he's close to.
History
Nyss ended up on the Wayward by more of a roundabout coincidence than anything else. While he was a young hatchling he wandered away from home and was rescued by a rescue hatchery. He had only been a couple days before he was adopted by a member of the boat crew. His first week was very terrifying, but soon he became apart of the family on the boat.
He had been on the boat for a while when out of the blue, his father showed up and joined the crew. They didn't realize they were related for a couple days, until someone pointed out the uncanny resemblance- they happily reunited, and now Nyss has been helping his father adjust to life on the boat. They can always be found together working on something or other, often accompanied by Neoys and Kai, two other dragons who joined the boat around the same time.
