Knight Of The Sun

With scales as bright as the sun itself his name is wholly ironic, but it only added to the shining personality of Pitch, Knight of the Sun.

He was not born unto greatness, as an evil, jealous entity from the Shadow Clan fed him a sort of poison as a hatchling ---- which did naught, but lessen the glow of his scales to something less ethereal. He no longer shone, but his features were reflective enough under light that they simply did not need to.

As a hatchling he was shunned by his clan, for his appearance was more natural for that of the Clan of Light. Were it not for his eyes, the Light Clan would have taken him in as their own. However, he was left as a child to fend for himself.

It was then, that the Sun shone brighter than ever before, it’s rays focused on Pitch and granting his shining appearance once more. This was a sign for him, that not all was lost in the hopelessness that was not knowing where he belonged.

Pitch is not a vain dragon in nature, though he does appreciate the uniqueness that is his appearance.

From a young age him and another dragon ---- Tortuga, a Guardian, became something akin to brothers with their closeness. They eclipsed each other, were one in danger the other would come to the rescue. Should one need assistance for any reason, the other was there.

When the Shadow entity came to attempt to finish the job his poison could not, Tortuga saved Pitch’s life, and for that they became blood brothers. Though not born as the same kin nor species, from that moment forth they were brothers. It was together that they found their current clan, a clan that accepted who they were without a complaint. And should any other dragon attempt to harass one, the other was always there.

Pitch is without a mate, but the females of the clan are ever persistent to attempt and rectify that.
