Cirrus

Cirrus came to the clan as a hatchling, back when it was just Cassie, Sideways and Rook. Adapting to the desert climate, with his thick winter coat and memories of the Southern Icefield, proved a little difficult at first and he fell ill. A newcomer to the clan called Mandy nursed him through it, however, and offered support, being an Ice dragon herself.

Cirrus had just made it into adulthood despite his sickness when Mandy first arrived, and it wasn't hard to guess why he soon became rather shy around her. For her part, the Coatl found him incredibly sweet, and there was certainly something to be said for his striking all-white colouration - even in his eyes. Their first nest resulted in two tundra girls, and while they were both delighted, Cirrus knew that Mandy had always hoped for Coatl hatchlings. Which are hard to come by when your mate's a Tundra.

With that in mind, Cirrus suggested that Mandy take a Wildclaw called Jack as her next mate, while he himself nested with another Tundra. Selflessness has always been one of Cirrus's best qualities, and after her next nest hatched Mandy went straight back to him. There'll be plenty more pastel-coloured Tundras hatching before Cirrus gets a Coatl scroll.
