If one were to ask Harris what he thought was the best piece of luck he ever had, he'd be hard pressed to answer. Was it being born a light dragon or meeting Alexa? There are other pieces of good fortune he is grateful for, but none could ever compare to those two.

It is possible perhaps that the oracles of water flight could have helped him with his 'gifts', but Harris doubts that he could have found success without the Lightweaver's ambiance - light dragons have a gift for truth; and without that he would not be able to tell which of the possibilities he glimpsed was the reality. And without the ability to separate 'is' from 'will be' and 'could have been', one stops being an oracle and simply becomes insane.

Thankfully he is able to tell his visions apart from reality, and he is able to use them as an endless source of inspiration. Harris is both smarter and possessed of a much better memory than most other tundras; though his love of books and breadth of learning means that without mediation his ability to remember small day to day details is significantly worse than that of his kin.

Is it any wonder that a strange dragon with no known parents, who has difficulties remembering things, and with dull basic coloration, might be left clanless and lonely?

This is where Alexa comes in. The guardian had been one of the few dragons Harris has seen without echos of other realities about her (Galaxy and Jade also fit into this category). She may have changed over the years, but he has never seen her as other than what she is. And this guardian had believed in him when he was at his lowest point; giving him the strength and support he needed to continue. Her willingness to handle the little things, smooth out the gaps in his attention, this is a greater gift than any he could give her.

Recently, the events of Pandora's box caused Harris to be in no fit condition to do anything for the duration of brightshine, causing others to step up during the busy week and help cover the job of oracle.
