~ Clan Role ~
She is one of two founders to the Clan, as well as Patriarch Apollo's personal advisor, and stand-in Matriarch for the foreseeable future.


~ Origins ~
Sunnyskies hails from a small, scattered community of Guardians whom traveled together as temporary respite from the solitude of their Searches. It does not have a specified name, and its members vary with each passing day. Her mother, young and naive at the time, had briefly joined this tribe of nomads for means of rest and protection as she nurtured her first clutch of eggs within the Highland Scrub. Sunny was the only dragonet to hatch from a nest of three, with her mother leaving to returned to her Search, within the days following her hatching.

Having nowhere else to go, the young dragoness stayed with the nomads, seeing faces come and go over the years, until her coming of age. Her Search went on for many seasons, no place nor object nor creature quite calling out to her the way she knew her Charge would. She traveled all over the various Flight territories, settling with and departing from many Clans over the years. Ironically, it would not be until she returned to her birthplace, that she would stumble across her calling, nearly a decade later.

A single, abandoned Lightning egg left to its fate, from which her Charge and surrogate offspring, Apollo, had hatched.


~ Personality ~
Sunnyskies is a fairly reserved being, and a dragon of very few words. Her voice rumbles in quiet, dulcet tones that demands one's unwavering attention, which she uses well in times of chaos, where guidance is needed. She is a natural-born leader - perhaps from her upbringing with nomads, where she often took charge in the years before her Search began. It is this quiet wisdom that compelled Apollo to appoint her as his personal advisor, and it is a position she holds with silent dignity.

She tends to keep to herself, only seeming genuinely relaxed and at ease amongst a very small circle of close friends. She can be stern, but understanding, and has a particular soft spot for the Clan's young. When she is not by Apollo's side, she can usually be found either basking in a patch of sunlight, or in the nursery, keeping watch over the eggs and hatchlings while their mothers are away to hunt and rest.

She is unwavering in her loyalty, and will not hesitate to resort to violence, should something threaten the safety of her Charge or loved ones.


~ Relationships ~

Apollo
The Patriarch of her fledgling Clan is likely the single most closest companion Sunnyskies will ever have. He is her Charge, and as his Guardian, she is extremely protective over him. She is reluctant to be out of eyesight or earshot of him, and can rarely be found out of the same general vicinity of him without being instructed. She raised him from an egg, and will refer to him as her own son without hesitation, despite them having no blood relations. Apollo is the only dragon she feels fully comfortable and safe around, and is one of the lucky few she will freely speak to in her own, reserved way.


~ Mateship(s) ~
Sunnyskies does not have a mate, and doubts she will ever find much interest in any sort of domestic partnership. The Clan has become her family, its adults and youth alike tending to her maternal instincts just fine. So if it is all the same, she would prefer it if you contained any potential flirting or attempts at courtship while in her presence, thank you very much.
