There isn't much known about Kalmokaarne. He is a dragon who mostly stays to himself and rarely talks with others. Others see him as a mysterious, wise and a bit quirky dragon, who knows a lot about magic and herbs.

He works as a shaman and a healer, creating potions and performing spells that help other dragons with their illnesses and problems. He is kind and dependable, even if sometimes hard to communicate with, since he tends to like silence and solitude. As a shaman Kalmokaarne spends time in his own cave, communicating with the spirits and dead. He also works as a messenger to Plaguebringer on issues that require reporting.

Kalmokaarne is a beautiful singer - his voice dances in the air in a sinister tone, and many living things seem to me mesmerized by it. He can stir up many strong emotions just with his speech. Many of the clan's ritual are filled with beautiful and eerie singing, echoing in the crater.

Kalmokaarne means "corpse raven" in Finnish.


LAIR

Kalmokaarne's nest is built close to the clan leader's lair. It has some wonky stairs going to the upper level, where a smal balcony leads inside the wall of the crater. There are different branches and plants growing around the cave's opening and a incense can be smelled even from the outside.

Inside is quite modest and small. There are cloths hanging on walls, tomes and parchments lying on the floor and a couple small cabinets seem to be overflowing from magical trinkets and potion materials. Small seating place is made comfortable with animal pelts and there's a bigger place for Kalmokaarne himself, next to a medium fire.
