머리가 셋 달린 명부의 문지기라 알려진 케르베로스. 머리 세개가 각각 인격을 갖고있으며 노란눈의 오른쪽머리와 가운데 붉은눈은 수컷, 왼쪽의 푸른눈은 암컷이다. 즉 이들은 남매이다. 가운데 머리는 가장 맏이, 둘의 형,오빠가 된다. 남은 수컷은 둘째, 암컷이 막내이다. 아무래도 여동생이다보니 둘이 과보호하는 감이 없지않아 있다. 보통은 수컷이면 목세개 전부가 수컷 암컷이면 목 세개가 암컷인경우가 보통인데 이런경우는 정말 드물다고 한다.

이들은 엄청난 잠재능력이 잠들어있는데 혹시나 그 힘이 풀어져버릴까봐 봉인을 해두었다. 그들의 몸을 장미가시로 칭칭 감아버린것. 그중 막내의 힘이 가장 강력해 더욱 꽁꽁 감겨져있다고 한다.

셋의 이름은 알려져있진 않지만(자신의 이름에대해 굳이 입밖으로 꺼내고 다니진
않는다.) 셋을 합쳐 케로 라고 부른다. 깜찍한 이름탓에 처음 이름을 들은 이들은 비웃기도 하지만 이내
등장하는 셋을보면 오줌을 지리고 도망친다는 소문이 있다. 원래라면 저승의 입구를 지켜야 할 이들이 무엇때문에 밖에서 돌아다니고 있는지는 확실치 않지만, 알수있는것은 이들은 가출견(....)이라는 것이다. 물론 케로가 없어진 저승에선 하데스가 그들을 엄청나게 찾고있다고 한다. 케로가 없어진 덕분에 저승을 비울수 없기에 바깥에서 유흥을 즐길수 없어졌기 때문이라고 하는데... 물론 케로는 그에관해 전혀 관심이 없는듯 하다. 무엇때문에 가출하였는지도 역시 알수없다. 다만 케로들이 한숨처럼 내쉬는 "휴.. 저승에선 힘들었어.."라는 말로 미루어 보아 노동이 엄청났던지, 아니면 다른 무언가가 힘들게 하여서 가출하였는지
궁금증이 들게 한다.
