Jonelav

Jonelav was once a pearl-less Pearlcatcher who was an outcast to the to the Pearlcatcher society, due never forming a pearl out of the very shell he came from. It didn't matter to him though, for he has made a closer bond to the Nocturnes of the Tangled Wood.
One day, he came across Baldwin, a former Pearlcatcher, that had transformed into a Bogsneak because of an alchemical disaster. At first, Jonelav was skeptical, but his suspicion died down when he realised Baldwin was not like other Pearlcatchers, and asked him for pearl of his own. So Baldwin made him a beautiful cyan pearl, which unexpectedly let whoever the pearl was bestowed upon, see several years into the future.

Once word got around that the Pearlcatcher found a pearl that could foresee into the future, the Pearlcatcher society wanted Jonelav to return. He turned them down, like they once did to him. Jonelav did not trust them one bit, and went back to what he saw was truly his homeland; Tangled Wood, where he would only share the secrets of the future to few Nocturnes, who kept quiet.
As time went by, fact quickly became rumours before the pearl was finally forgotten, never recorded ever again. However, the pearl still exists, under the care of Jonelav.
