Itura

Itura travelled to the lair on a political mission to solidify ties between her clan and this one. She was to breed with the clan leader, Bartimaeus. The hope was the children would be split between the two groups, and their familial ties to both would secure peace.

Sadly, only one egg was produced in the union, and Itura confessed she had no desire to return home, for her clan was unkind to her. Bartimaeus desired to send her and the egg back, seeing the threat of further political unrest; Sylvain interjected and asserted that she would take responsibility and moderate between the two groups. For now, Itura would be allowed to stay.

As time went by, Itura struggled to find her place within the clan. Unable to climb the ranks politically, and lacking any strong skills in other areas, she resigned herself to becoming a breeder. Her poor luck continued though, as she found herself once more unable to produce more than one egg. Dismayed, Itura quickly hid the egg from sight and hatched it in secret so that no one would know; claiming that the breeding simply hadn't worked. It was a lesser shame than letting on that she could not carry more.
