Raia fondly remembers the first day she first met some of the dragons of Rydia. She was moving away from her home in Ashfall Waste. The dragons had been out shopping when the topic came up how they were hopping to get Pearlcatchers in the clan. Recently they had seen a beautiful dragon with crystal markings and thought they should look for a Pearlcatcher that also had those markings. While it was curiosity at first, everything changed when they saw Raia. Something about her just spoke to them and they fell in love. That's when they realized they were short the money needed to help her relocate because of the shopping they did earlier. Not to mention Raia was planning to return home soon if she couldn't find a clan. In a frantic effort to get Raia to join them, the dragons desperately gathered all the treasure they could, even selling much of their hoard in order to gain just enough to help her move to the Sea of a Thousand Currents. Raia's happily lived in Rydia ever since and now makes clothes and decorations for everybody.
