History

"Hush now, child. We will take care of you." That was the first time anyone had ever spoken kindly to her. For much of her younger life, Dakota travelled alone. Seperated from her clan at an early age, the young Mirror wandered from place to place. Most nights, she would take shelter in a cave somewhere close to the sea. But, that only lasted so long when she realized her parents nor any of her clan were coming to search for her. Sure of herself, the little Mirror headed north, unaware of the dangers that would face her.

She faced hardly any hardships as she made her way through the Sea of a Thousand Currents. If anything, she was treated kindly by those she did pass. They would offer her food and shelter or even the oppurtinity to travel with them. She declined each time, however. She'd heard stories of the lands to the North, she was going to be the first hatchling to travel there all by herself.

Sadly, it did not go over as well as she might have thought. Eventually, she found herself at the very edges of the Tangled Wood. Unable to properly see and unsure where she was going, Dakota found she had to spend what little time during the day travelling as she could. However, she was rather unlucky. A sounder of Deadwood Boars chased her for miles through the dark. The only thing she could remember besides the fear pulsing through her was a sudden burst of light and then an immense shadow. Covering her face, she heard only a loud roar, a swish of a tail, and the squeal of the swine. When she looked up, she saw Robin.

Robin hadn't been the one to physically save her, but he was the first one who showed her comfort and love a family. She trained hard with Thanos, her actual savor and Robin's mate, to become the best that she could. Dakota swore from that moment on to be Robin's protector. She would look after him like he always looked out for her.
