Apatite occasionally carries extremely rare metals. Extracting them from this mineral can be exhausting, and inhaling the residual dust from this process is known to cause insatiable hunger pangs.

Sarahi is the head geologist and in charge of any and all digging expeditions.
She has a habit of picking up rocks she find interesting or beautiful and adding them to her ever growing rock collection/altar, as she is the hardest worker in the digging team she is allowed to keep some of the findings too... just not all of them.
She is of the firm opinion that you can never have to many rocks or mineral samples.
She is always searching, digging, spelunking, using the fact that she needs nearly no sleep to the furthest extent, as she spends most of her time in these environments amethysts and other minerals have started growing on her hide, she is very proud of this and carefully takes care of them.
Sarahi became part of the clan during one of her rock collecting strolls and Morganis glimmering gems was to much of a temptation and Sarahi was caught trying to nick one, she swears she did not notice that they were attached to Morganis or indeed that Morganis existed, nowadays they are great friends and often laugh together at their strange first meeting.
