Biography

Aerinite, the Crimson Tempest
Alpha of the Wyld Hunt

Temperamental | Combative | Boisterous

Known by her Clan as the Crimson Tempest, Aerinite has been aptly nicknamed for her element manifests not in bolts of white hot fury, but in a smoldering, deadly red hue. The de-facto leader of the Wyld Hunt, she has proven herself time and time again in combat and risen to her position by talent as much as practice.

Many avoid Aerinite for her inherent grumpiness, but her abrasive nature has its place in keeping the Wyld Hunt functioning. With a faction full of like-minded warriors and hunters, anarchy is always right around the corner, and hers is the iron fist needed to keep them in line. The female is combative to a fault and she finds it difficult to interact in other ways. She is very concrete, sometimes mistaken for dull-witted, and can often take a jest as an insult by misunderstanding. Few attempt to joke with her unless they know they can get away from her ire before she blasts them with electricity. The fae of the Clan are most guilty of this.

Even so, she is the one that ultimately approves or denies contracts sent to her from other areas of the Clan and decides whether or not to deploy her Hunt in search of these contracts. Contracts range from requests for rare reagents to rare magical relics from faraway lands. Few other factions within Clan Geist range as far as the Wyld Hunt in search of anything, save perhaps the Cryo Conclave.

More often than not, Aerinite herself will go in search of the contracts she approves, especially the more dangerous ones. She is no coward and no slouch. Chances are pretty good that if she won't accept a contract, then it's something she would not do herself--and she won't hand those things off to those beneath her either. Unreasonable requests are easily denied.

Aerinite can consistently be found with any number of her wolves by her side. Aerinite's wolves are the core members of the Wyld Hunt and to become one requires a great test of courage and skill. Once proven, each dragon is given a wolf pelt to wear to signify their status within the Hunt.

KELP BEDS CONTRACT - In Progress

"The tailors in the Crafters Guild are always looking for new materials to make apparel for our dragons. Some of them are entirely too...frufru if you ask me. Good armor or clothing for surviving the elements in the Icefields is more practical. Though, I have to admit...this stuff Lavir wants us to get from the sea is...pretty."

GOLEM WORKSHOP CONTRACT - COMPLETE

"So Moulin is on his crap again. He wants to make this new desert that he claims will be phenomenal. I mean, he's a great chef, don't get me wrong, he makes a great lobster bisque, but...electric almonds? I like to feel my tongue when I taste food. At least I get to revisit the dunes again. Sometimes I miss the pure ordered chaos of the Shifting Expanse. It's in my blood, ya know?"
