Biography

Rose Quartz
Petalwing Matriarch
Iisko

Florist
Botanist
Neutral Good
"Kindness is free"

He speaks in a deep, rumbling voice that contrasts his outward appearance. He is a kind, gentle, and happy dragon, and has always loved his place in the clan. He picks flowers constantly in an effort to avoid crushing them under his paws. As a result, he wears enormous chains and crowns of them and smells like a dream.

Like many dragons of his clan, Iisko had experience with various flights. His mother hailed from the Starfall Isles, his father from the Sunbeam Ruins. However, he came from above – gentle giant Iisko’s old and new home was separated by so much more than just a grand sea. The plateau where he was born was filled with the current of air, breezes constantly zipping, both drawn by the ancient storm in the corner of the land. Iisko grew up side by side with the worst of nature’s storms, and learned to temper them.

Disregarding the violent weather, living in the Wind flight was easygoing and carefree granted you could fly. Small clans were on what little ground there was, while clans worthy of name and recognition lived in the sky in their airships and interlocked platforms suspended from the ground. His fellow Wind dragons would cross the sky daily, whereas he, as a Snapper, was rooted. Snappers were meant to travel the ground, to traverse anywhere on the earth. His breed was never meant to live in the sky. His intended purpose from birth was to be a wanderer, and while Iisko ultimately does not regret his decision, there are days where he can do little more than look towards the sky with resignation.

When the clan moved to Arvensis, Iisko’s first thought of the woods was that it was empty of sound. It felt unreal and dangerously unfamiliar. Here, air didn’t press against his skin every waking moment, and the creatures living within the land kept themselves quiet as to not attract predators. Before he got used to the crawling pace of life that nature settled on, he was irritated by the inactivity and spent his days walking through the forest. The flowers in the labyrinth were vibrant and strange. They filled his bag, and he placed them on his shoulders and head – his pursuit of knowledge became the way he dressed himself.
