Varajo

Originally hired by Faralysa and Chufa simply for two facts:
1. Varajo is a Ridgeback so the Shifting Expanse is like home to him.
2. Varajo is a Shadow dragon, and a skilled one at that.

After he met Ilmatar, however, he permanently moved into The Clan to be close to her whenever possible.

Varajo provides The Clan with intel and functions as a link to the Shadow Flight, whom The Clan considers a close ally. Many a trading contracts and deals became into fruition thanks to him. He also works as a scout and as an unofficial spy (the clan denies any knowledge of such questionable actions!), lurking in the shadows to keep an eye on the other Flights, Clans and the Beastclans. A cunning fellow, he tries to always be one step ahead of everyone.

Despite his size, he is immensely skilled in the art of invisibility, hiding his large frame in plain sight if needed. As such, his fighting style is a little unorthodox for a Ridgeback: Instead of charging head on and using his spines to impale his enemies, he goes for nasty back-attacks and attacks with precision and finesse. Should his sneaking fail, rarely as it might be, he resorts to the "classic" Ridgeback tactics.

He is cold, calm and polite, and very persuasive. Still, he can appear very distant and indifferent to others, especially ones who do not know him. Ilmatar knows, however, he has a very sweet and warm side to him as well, he just simply never shows it to anyone else other than her. As a reminder to himself of what is dear to him, he carries a Sakura Corsage, a gift from Ilmatar.
