Biography

Blood and earth are the colors writ into October's genes, and she is at her best in the Coliseum. As a hatchling, she got into the small store of familiars and... borrowed... one. She's slightly miffed that no one wants to borrow the basilisk back -- perhaps because even as a baby, she outweighed all the adults and other hatchlings put together -- but is making the best of things.

Now a parent, she is quite pleased with the overall success of her progeny. She is especially proud of Block, who went to an allied clan, ate a lot of fish, and experienced an unexpected growth spurt. Though he's gone to serve a god, she is still quite fond of him and will drop messages in a bottle into the ocean when hunts take her in that direction, in the hopes the realm of the Tidelord will accept the "mail."

October does not nest exclusively with anyone in the scrublair, but is often quite fond of the far smaller mirror, Augustus. She's especially fond of his recent change to a shinier hide, and how sleek he looks with runes.
