Calliope

You may wonder how a nature dragon came to be the matriarch and founder of a fire clan. Calliope was abandoned in the Flamecaller's domain when she was just a hatchling and taken in by the leader of a clan that has since ceased to exist. Her adoptive clan treated her well until the leader passed on and left the clan in the hands of her daughter who had always been jealous of and fostered a strong hatred for Calliope; she was immediately exiled. Not long afterwards the clan fell apart from inner turmoil. Calliope, alone again, at least knew the lay of the land and how to survive this time. She wander alone for a few months but eventually came across a young male whom she would later fall in love with. They created the Clan of Fractured Flames so that they could be together and accept any dragons who feel lost or unaccepted by others.
