Tern [ dazzling wallflower ]

Soft-spoken and reserved, the former mirror found it difficult to form alliances with other mirror packs as her timid nature made her an undesirable hunting partner. After sustaining a small injury on her leg one day, the current pack she had been traveling with inadvertently left her behind. She had been abandoned in the Sunbeam Ruins, a land unfamiliar to her, and soon found herself lost inside the mysterious Hewn City.

With fear making hunting even more difficult, Tern was soon starving and feeling completely hopeless. But as luck would have it, her wanderings had brought her to the edge of Hewn City, close to where Clan Brightsong had set up lair. The bright colours of the diverse clan stood in such stark contrast to the darkened, shadowy ruins that she thought she was dreaming.

It was Tesla, coming back from training new dragons eager to serve the Lightweaver, who first noticed the frightened Tern. After cautiously approaching her, he decided that the skinny, miserable-looking mirror was no threat and kindly invited her inside for lunch with the rest of the clan. Etana took an immediate liking to Tern and declared that she could stay for as long as she liked. (Soleil and MidnightSavana simply looked at each other and shrugged; Etana had proven time and again to be a good judge of character and the clan had more than enough resources to welcome another member. Or ten.)

Despite her shy nature, Tern loves bright colours and prefers her new form to her previous one. Even if it does make her stand out more.
