B I O G R A P H Y

As a young hatchling, Astra was intrigued by the mysteries of the celestial sky. She would always beg her parents to tell her stories of their origins. Aduial and Anduin always indulged her requests, but slowly, their spring of stories grew dry. Astra was left with a growing hunger to know more about the celestial sky that couldn't be quenched. Finally, she decided to leave the clan to search for other recordings of the celestial realm.

Her search brought her to the dwellings of the Arcanist. Astra was struck with fear at entering his domain, but she burned with the need for knowledge of the celestial realm. So she knocked on the door and peeked in when there was no response. The Arcanist barely gave her a look before he went back to his research on the newest species in Sornieth. Taking his silence as consent, Astra crept towards the bookshelves behind him and started her quest. Other dragons came and left, all of them perusing the Arcanist's hoard of records for information. No one noticed her nestled in the dark corner of the library, where she was content with her stash of scrolls. However, it all came to an end when Astra discovered that there were no new scrolls on the celestial realm. It seemed that this was all she could accomplish with the help of the Arcanist. Knowing that she needed to continue her journey, she bid farewell to the Arcanist and the other inhabitants before she set off.

Astra found herself wandering around the Wind territory soon after. She had heard of a device that would bring dragons to heights they had never achieved. As one of the clans in the territory experimented with their device, she stowed away on it. Then, as the device reached the peak of its journey, she leapt off it and spread her wings, heading towards the celestial sky.
She spent a long time flying in the sky, high above the clouds of Sornieth, marvelling at the beauty of the celestial world that she could never quite see from the ground. Soon, her strength failed her and she fell from the sky, leaving a trail of stardust behind her.

B I O G R A P H Y

She landed in the Viridian Labyrith, almost on the verge of death when Eridanus chanced upon her. He saved her life and in order to pay the Life Debt, she stayed in the clan. During her days of recuperation, she consolidated all that she had learnt of the celestial realm and created a new line of study: the Celestial Artes.

After a period of time, Astra decided that it was time to take on an apprentice. Sorey happened to be a suitable candidate out of the many young hatchlings that came forward. Still, Sorey's ability to learn the Artes was hindered by his Purification duties and Astra was soon left without no one to teach. Out of boredom, she decided to try finding a mate and for a time, she was content.

Until she became bored again. Her mate left her not long after that and Astra was alone again once more. Out of desperation, she decided to return to her family and within a few weeks, she was back in the clan with another young Skydancer toddling behind her.
