Let's be honest. Dssia is pretty damn creepy. First, there's her name. What kind of name is Dssia? It sounds like a hiss with a couple of extra letters tacked onto the ends. Most of her speech sounds somewhat hiss-like, so no one can ever be certain what her name would be if she spoke without the hiss. Maybe it would be something beautiful like Dynissia...maybe not.

You're not likely to meet Dssia unless you go looking for her. Her favored location is in dark, damp caves. She spends so much time in there that a musty smell is permanently embedded in her skin and spiders have taken up residence in the folds of her wings. Whenever she does venture out into the land of the living, she always wears a dark cloak which, oddly, makes her near-black eyes glow almost white.

Dssia is notorious for two things. First: She hoards lizards. (And has one ancient black cat. It's probably immortal at this point.) She doesn't eat lizards, she just collects them. And dresses them. And keeps them as pets. It's safe to say her lizards are the most pampered lizards you'll ever find, but no one has ever figured out why she takes such good care of them meanwhile letting herself fall into shambles.

The second thing you might know Dssia for is her fortune-telling. She's an oracle...a seer...though she's never been allowed to carry the proper 'Seer' title. Instead, she just considers herself a weaver of fate. Sit down, let her lay out her cards, and see just what might lurk in your future. There's a 99% chance it's something dark and dreadful, because Dssia's fortunes never speak of happiness or treasure.

Fun Facts!
Out of respect to her lizard friends, Dssia is strictly vegetarian. She shares most of her dark and decadent salads with her many lizards, enjoying a variety of unusual plants and seeds.
