Calyx was the first one. He just sort of was there, occasionally giving fruits and materials and hunted prey to one or the other ones who came across his little garden.

Since these visitors didn't disturb nature (much), he accepted the new inhabitants without making a fuss. What the others don't know, but he himself very much, is that the strong magic thrumming in his body not only lets him live far longer than a normal dragon, but would force the newcomers to leave his land in one way or the other. Calyx can't control this ancient force of magic, but he knows that it reacts to the best for nature and occasionally to strong emotions of him.

Over time, he has come to cherish their joint care for the garden.



Checking that it is indeed a good hour after sunrise, you enter the garden. Soon, you encounter a bright yellow and green dragon, who greets you friendly.

'Everybody around here pulls their weight, but I'm the main gardener. I've been here the longest. Please, feel free to wander around, and make sure you enjoy your stroll! The hortensias over there are in full bloom, and well worth a closer look.' He points you onwards to several large bushes in different colors.

Feeling welcome despite the sign, you walk to the hortensias and enjoy the vibrant colors.
