Born in the Light Flight, Avari grew up respecting the Lightweaver, spending her time with her nose deep in books about the deity as one book lead to another, leading the young Pearlcatcher to read about magic. The curious Pearlcatcher began to practice her magic among the hatchlings of her clan, soon learning about how powerful her magic truly was. With natural talent alone, Avari was able to bypass most of her childhood friends with ease, yet as powerful as her magic was, often times she found it uncontrollable, the young dragon feared she could end up shattering her own horn from it's power. Going through intense training, Avari found herself unable still to control her magic as she became an adolescent. At her wits end, worried her magic may one day hurt those around her, Avari turned to her parents, being told to confide in the Lightweaver for answers and that's exactly what she did. In a dream, a vision of the Lightweaver came to her, guiding her towards a Templar of the Light deity in a tangled bramble forest.

Heeding the advice of the Lightweaver, Avari wistfully left her home and set out across a journey to the Foxfire Bramble. Struggling to make the travel, Avari learned quickly how much of a blessing her magic truly was, she was able to dispatch enemies with relative ease only causing self inflicted wounds to her horn. Finally reaching her destination, Avari made her way towards the clan lands of Kronyx Highlanders, scaling the hill through the bramble to the small homes above, being led straight to the Templar she saw in her dreams, Arianwryn. Through his help, Avari was able to harness her magic to the fullest without hurting herself or causing irreversible damage. The Skydancer gifted her with a tome, full of Light spells he had once struggled to learn as he had, now Avari uses the tome not only for spells, but creating her own spells to strengthen her magic.

Through a trip to find herbs for the clan Matriarch Skadi, Avari got turned around within the Bramble and ambushed by Beastclan members. Being knocked to the ground, the young dragon was unable to react quick enough to the sword heading straight for her, only to be saved by a ragged Imperial. Recognizing he must've been a wandering sellsword, Avari offered her services as a healer and what coin she could spare in return for a safe trip home. Happy he agreed, Avari traveled alongside the mysterious Imperial, shielding him with magic, and healing wounds. More and more she felt close to the silent companion, she expressed delight at him being able to see her home, hoping he would see it as home as well. Within the last leg of their journey, Avari was ecstatic that the imperial she now knew as April, had opened up to her, soon encouraging him to settle down as they returned to her home.

Now Avari spends her days harnessing her magic, and regularly praying to the Lightweaver and thanking her for leading her as she had, bringing her to her new home and to her mate, April. She enjoys his company more than anything, seeing the softer side he hides underneath. A day doesn't go by without seeing Avari cuddled to April's side, relishing in his nickname, "Ava", taking it as a sign of their close relationship.
