Biography

Royal Midnight stared at the hatchling. ''But... The dominance push... We were going to train...''

Andromeda carried the little fae into the lair tenderly. ''But SO PRETTY!'' she crooned.

The Imperial followed her. ''But Athan doesn't even have his third gening yet!''

The Mirror leader of the Scrublair ignored him. ''Preeeeeeetty!''

Voice nearly a wail, Royal Midnight said, ''But now the lair is full again!''

Sandstorm, Andromeda's mate (for all that he was gadding about the lair now and again), poked his head out from one of the tunnels their Ridgebacks had dug. ''Gonna expand next sevenday, right?''

Royal Midnight covered his face in his foreclaws once more. Dominance-training pushes were rarely a good idea at the Scrublair.

The little fae, not yet even named, blinked her ice-blue eyes at the larger dragons, and fluttered her wings cutely.

A few days later, and now with a name, Tathana has joined the rest of the fae-flock in their tasks around the lair -- mostly finding places for the things Andromeda hoards (she's nearly as bad as Crim the Collector!) and getting into small places that no one else can quite reach. As a baby fae, some of those places are small indeed!

The awkward, gangly, growing stage of a young fae is... still overwhelmingly adorable, according to Andromeda. Having the lair's leader come and coo whenever one clips a wall in flight and tumbles, however, is going to give Tathana a bit of an attitude in a few more days. Tathana is just sure of it.

It didn't take long for Tathana to notice Athan, once she was grown. Andromeda pointed her in the Tundra's direction, and the little fae made herself at home in his mane nearly immediately. Athan... really doesn't know what hit him.
