Biography

Herbert is a bright dragon, but relatively unambitious. He primarily enjoys simple pursuits such as reading and eating, and he doesn't much mind his job as a forager, either.

His co-foragers, Shelara and Korreth, both consider him the weak link in the team but neither wants to lose a friend and another set of paws by mentioning it. Herbert, for his part, sees nothing wrong with occasionally abandoning his job to sprawl out on the dirt, pull a well-worn scroll out of his fur, and spend a while reading about far-flung lands.

He does have something of a detached view of life, but he is aware of his Elemental inclination and actively tries to fit in and to understand the perspectives of those around him. He wishes he could convince Korreth to join him in this, but it's probably a lost cause.
