Eyebright was quite the adventurer before he stumbled across the small clutch of dragons that would one day be known as the Star Clan of the Fae Fields. When he met them, the clan consisted of only a few Fae. He knew he liked these new Fae at once, and they in return liked him, but he was a roamer; he had never lived in one place for very long. Though young, he had already traversed much of the Southern Icefield and a good part of the Crystalspine Reaches. It was only luck that had brought him to Acacia and Papyrus's cavestep.

The pair immediately invited him to stay, if not permanently, then for as long as he wished. He happily agreed, thinking that it would be nice to make friends even if he would eventually flit along his merry way. Before long, though, he realized he had grown far too fond of Acacia to ever think about leaving permanently. Now he was even happier that he had found the nascent Star Clan.

Without even really realizing it, Eyebright rose to the ranks of the elders, and not just by dint of the length of time he has been part of the clan. His early travels educated him well and he shares his wisdom generously. He still ventures out to patrol the wildly growing gardens, but does not leave the clan territory. He has no reason to. Everything he could desire is right where he is, in the Fae Fields.
