Lydia

Lydia was smaller and lighter than all of her brothers and sisters but the spitting image of her mother. It was no wonder she was chosen in her clan to represent Dragonhome as she had a kind and gentle soul much like the Earthshaker himself. The young dragon was set off on her travels by her family and although she was proud to be chosen, it was quite the lonely path. A pearlcatcher by the name of Oliver was the first one to befriend the young hatchling and helped her along until he took off towards the southern regions after finding his calling. Once again she traveled alone, stuck to the earth by fault of her somewhat useless wings and made to tread to an unknown destination.

Upon reaching the border of Dragonhome she discovered a new place often referred to as the plaguelands by her family. It held many stories of being frightening and dangerous so she chose to skirt around the edges towards the Tangle Woods. Her journey carried on for a long time and she had already grown to be a larger female when she finally arrived at the edge of the Windswept Plateau. Her weariness finally took over and she slept for nearly a year as soot and stone made her hide their home.

A rumbling in the earth was what caused her to rise from her slumber now with stones and gems growing from every crevice in her scales. Lydia looked like a true dragon of the earth now and carried herself proudly with the blessing bestowed upon her. With these new accessories she was now also able to control the land below her which was what had awoken her. The grown dragon took a step and shook the earth making the nearby creatures flee from her power. The only one that stayed out of curiosity was a small goblin who matched her in appearance yet was tiny compared to her. They became fast friends and still travel the earth together to this day.
