FireWing Queen

B I O G R A P H Y

There is seemingly nothing that can scare the FireWing Queen. She is always the first in battle and will jump head first into danger at the sign of it. She must always be in charge. The FireWing is very tall with a rounded, slightly underweight, build. She has round, light brown eyes and shiny, straight teeth. Due to an animus spell, she cannot feel or move her front right arm. The Queen has good balance and agility but poor coordination. It's hard to change Inferno's mind and she will go through with a decision, even against the warnings of her advisors, at times. The dragon is quick to envy others, and this only seems to make her hate them even greater. She has an abnormal obsession with regularly checking the positions of the sun and moon in the sky. As Queen, she insists on sharing equally, but privately hoards food and treasure and can easily be swayed by these items. She is a pathological liar and lies even when she doesn't intend to.

Since becoming Queen, Inferno has gotten the Tribe into several wars by her willingness to fight. Despite this, she is generally well-liked by her subjects. So, of course, when Azalea threatened the Tribes, the FireWing was quick to make enemies with her. This eventually developed into the Queen losing the ability to use her front right arm but the other dragon's powerful magic. Now, Inferno won't stop until the stranger and her group of dragons are dead.

F I R E W I N G S

FireWings are one of the seven dragon tribes and come in many varying shades of red, gold or orange with massive, powerful wings. They are noted to be great fliers and the fastest dragons in the air. They live in Ashfall Waste. They were previously under the rule of Queen Jewel, but the tribe is now under the rule of her daughter, Queen Inferno. FireWings usually have red, orange, or golden scales that are described to be "jewel-hard". They have enormous wings and long graceful necks, making them excellent fliers and fighters. In addition, they can breathe fire at temperatures hotter than other fire-breathing tribes at any given time. Most FireWings are short-tempered, militaristic, grumpy, and like fighting.

FireWings are well-known for their superior skills of combat. They can fly faster than any other tribe, thanks to their large wings and keels, and are capable of breathing large amounts of fire at extreme temperatures. They are also strong, but, in some cases, very small. This leads them to deceive the enemy with their size. FireWings have more cardiovascular endurance and better muscle toning than the other dragon tribes and also larger wings to go further with more ease than dragons from other tribes. In rare cases, a FireWing dragonet can be born with too much fire. This is referred to as being a firescales. They possess so much fire that everything they touch burns or catches on fire, which makes them invulnerable to any attack by almost any dragon, but also curses them by making them unable to have physical contact with any other living being. These dragons are often shunned and alone or the mother will usually drop the dragonet(s) off a cliff to kill them, as FireWing law. At least once, a dragonet with too much fire had a twin with too little fire. These twins are presumably killed in the same way that their siblings are, probably because they would be too weak to survive. It is unknown that the twin is the cause of the sibling having too much fire by having their fire 'sucked out of them', but it is very likely.

FireWings value excitement and oftentimes gore, as shown with the FireWing Arena, yet they still keep justice and honor in mind as with the Champion's Shield. FireWings tend to name their young after sky or mountain-related things, such as birds, things occurring on mountains, and since the FireWings are based off of the element of fire, fire-related names. Dragonets have been shown to be raised in a Wingery, similar to that of the LightWings. The Wingery is a place for young dragonets to grow and play, similar to a human daycare. Most FireWing mothers care very much for their dragonets, doing anything to protect them. They have a ceremonial burial system of wrapping the body in white cloth and setting it on a high altitude area for a week so that the spirit can fly into the sky and reincarnate into another FireWing as opposed to another dragon tribe. The FireWing Arena is a fighting arena where prisoners fight to the death. Apparently, if a dragon is to get a certain amount of victories, they would be set free.
