Cayne is a reclusive and quiet dragon, he spends his time alone on his solitary land. Coughing in his home.
As a plague dragon he spent a long time in the contagion he has since gained many unknown diseases and ailments.

Dragons seldom visit him because of his cold personality and his known sickness.
He dislikes interacting with anyone, preferring to keep others at arms length.
Some young dragons refer to him as the 'scary old farmer' or the 'cursed old man' some even trespass on his land as a dare.

While he is just a handyman he also has plenty of knowledge on the strange and unknown items that pass through the clan. Sometimes but very rarely dragons need his assistance with these curious items. Though few seek his guidance because of his scary image.

Weeks of his deterioration led into months when a dragon came to his home, an anonymous dragon came to confess their worriment for the grumpy handyman, Cordula, head of the clans religious icons approached him.
Of course Cayne was uncomfortable and a bit concerned with her intrusion but she spoke with a kind voice and even gave an apology for her trespasses, she left Cayne shocked, they were able to keep a short and quiet conversation. Being understanding and reasonable Cordula realized the rumors about Cayne were false. He isn't scary and contagious, he is actually kind, lonely even. She insisted they meet again.

Despite his aversion to companionship they met up, again and again until Cordula realized how poor in health his is. Demanding he see the clans Doctors even though he implored they never worked.
She dragged him into the Apothecary to prove to him he isn't a lost cause.

To his surprise it did work! Now he has temporary cure to his constant pain. Leoven checks up on his often now.

He slowly began to open up to the beautiful Guardian that came into his life, Cordula nursed not only his health but his heart too.
He has also kept a close friendship with his doctor Leoven.
He refuses to interact much with the other doctor Aldegar, the two cannot stand one another.

Opening up to others really changed his life, he is no longer a bitter old man, he is now much happier and healthier. His smile though still rarely seen is filled with a whimsical glee rather than masked anguish.

Dialogue:

Cayne was watching the cool breeze sway against the brightly colored and high hung flags and sails of the bustling city, eyes holding no real warmth.
Tilting his head he saw an approaching figure, tall and beautifully adorned in twilight fabrics, a soft smile came to his maw as he pushed himself from the windowsill to the door.

Cordula entered the small but well tended home, her smile wide and eyes shining brighter than the night time stars, she stepped over to him "Good afternoon my love, how are you feeling?" she asked setting her bag of tomes down.

Cayne nodded settling at her side "Much better now."

Reputation:

Cayne is known as an angry and scary old fae who refuses company, because of this he rarely gets visitors outside his adoring mate Cordula. Not that he seems to mind much.

The most lively area, also the largest, this is the core of the city filled with markets and humble residences, this is where the general populous lives and works.
It is a melting pot filled with a wide range of buildings and inhabitants. The neutral portion of the city all can feel safe and happy in.
