Pride was born by the Blessing.
The eyes of his parents were dusted with sulfur, and he lived as a beast in ignorance.
Pride's eyes are costly red zirconium, and the whisper of the plague has planted a serpent's pride in his soul.
Breeding, growing, aging, withering. He grows amongst the redundant and decaying dragons.
Sacrifice, soar, fight, die. The dragon god dictates that her minions mechanically follow a trajectory.
He stretched his pale gold wings to the canopy, soaring upward out of longing.
The putrid miasma of the Wandering Wastes obscures the daylight, making it a dull red.
High above where dragons feared to look up in fear of the gods, his place called to him.
There was nothing in this world for him to look up to.
He would end the history of the maggot-like prostration of his people.
[You will be as gods, able to know good and evil.]
Yet he fell, and in the silencing of the dragons, the outcast of the Plaguebringer disappeared into the darkness.
You will live forever and be punished forever.
And you will be a traitor to your own people.
His red zirconium eyes gazed into the distant sky.
