Hershey is an male who came to Clover's clan after the fae managed to make friends with his clan's leader. Impressed by his leadership skill, Hershey joined. Though he's not a fighter or a healer, Hershey makes due by ensuring the safety of the young dragons within the clan.

The tundra is some distance from his home, but he's grown to like living in the Everbloom Gardens. He cools off from the warmth of the day in nearby pools, and at night he tells the young dragons of the clan of stories from the tales of the Gladekeeper to the territories beyond the Viridian Labyrinth.

Though despite his calm demeanor, Hershey can get overwhelmed by strong senses of superstition. Rare for a shadow flight of common magic, he can get nightmarish visions of things that happened or are happening to dragons of Sorineth, such as the roars of Gaolers toward a scarred battlefield, or the bellows of a Banescale losing its way in a tangled forest. A nightmare that Hershey greatly fears are those of dragons who fall victim to the warnings the shadow flight tell of the Veilspun.
