Daughter Of The Earthshaker
"There is a certain power, contained within the Earth's core."

It is intangible to many who use it, but just as many feel it's energy in themselves.
This energy is eternally ancient, long lived and imbued with wisdom.
Its power surges through flesh and through blood constantly,
renewing it's unending life in an infinite cycle of carnage and birth.

There is a certain beauty about this cycle, however.
Life, once dust, becomes animate, living stones walking Earth.
They breath and they move, as they had once before,
the only difference being their bodies' new shapes.
They live as they had, form new lives, new souls and minds.
They create new life from the soil from which they were birthed,
and yet, this life is ancient, with the knowledge of ancestors long passed,
millennia of spells and strengths being passed through the generations.

She is named after the very earth herself, Gaia.
The name has been reveried for centuries,
an ancient Goddess having had it once before.
It's meaning has been lost to many cultures,
but within the Dragonhome, the name is strong,
one of distinctive power and grace, as the Goddess had.
She is blessed to have such a name, and yet,
her colors do not reflect this blessing.

While many from other flights would question the colors,
thinking of ways for them to mingle and match with each other,
the ancient stones find them to be nearly a treason to them,
more fitting of those from the Stars than those of the Earth.
Having banished her to the place where starlight shines,
she spends her days working day and night,
trying to become one with her element,
despite being so far away from it's warmth.

The Sectonians have welcomed her into their home,
the elderly Mirror, Mirage, having lead her to their clan.
There is an air of mystery about these strange dragons,
one that Gaia cannot quite put her claw on, just yet...

Oh, Gaia, if only you knew who you were dealing with...
The Sectonians are a ruthless race, determined to rule someday.
They will ravish the land and reap it's soils of all life,
dominating the land with their magics and Mirage's rage.
If only you had know, before this had all started, poor girl.

Maybe you would have survived her wrath...
