He can't summon them or speak to them like his mother can, but he can feel them all around, brushing shoulders with him and reaching out for him. He spends much of his time meditating, reaching back to them.

After fleeing his home clan, a strange being took him on as an apprentice, and now Machai spends his time with this new soulbound companion.

Low Potential (2): The priestess has read the bones and sees weakness. This child struggles to connect with their deity, limiting the amount of power and livelihood they will have.
