Biography
The lonely Nocturne burrows at night.
With persistent effort, she tunnels,
until darkness replaces the moon's dim light.
A small cave is what she uncovers,
full of gems, coal, and mineral treasures.
She digs, and mines the loot from the wall.
But the owner of the cave is not happy at all.
"What are you doing, thief?" A little mole shouts,
as he blocks her exit, scowls and pouts.
The Nocturne drops her loot in surprise.
"I wasn't aware these belonged to you!"
She explained, no tricks, no lies.
The mole could feel the sincerity, it was truth this dragon told.
It pondered a moment, then gave an offer so bold.
"If you share the profit, and fix the hole in the roof of my den,
Then you can keep the treasures, and feel free to mine again."
The Nocturne smiled, then jumped in delight.
"I'll use the front door next time", she squeaked.
