Amadala

Amadala is the daughter of Pluto and Ankhsuamun. She has lived her entire life in the Katshepsut’s Clan and has made many friends and has said good-bye to just as many throughout her life. The Clan Keeper, Nefertiti, has worked hard at keeping the Clan together after the founders left and Amadala, like all the dragon kinds, reap the reward bestowed on the Clan due to this hard work.

One of the saddest days during her hatchling years was watching her father, Pluto, answer the call of their god, Stormcatcher. Amadala was glad her father was chosen but secretly wished he did not answer the call so soon. Her mother, Ankhsuamun, still lives with the Clan and enjoys spending time with Amadala and her brothers and sisters that have not answered the call of their god.

During her hatchling years, she spent her time in the company of Drummer when she was not running around with her brother, Sting, and her two sisters, Nephertari and Hathor. As Amadala and Drummer were growing up, their friendship blossomed into more. After becoming an adult, Amadala took Drummer in as her Mate with the intent of living her life sharing it with him and their offspring.

After a time, Drummer and Amadala had a clutch of three offspring: Jeff, Spot, and Greg. Life was perfect for Amadala and she thanked her god, Stormcatcher, for blessing her with such a life. As she watched her offspring grow into adults, Amadala felt as if her purpose in this life was fulfilled and she was now blessed to spend her years with just her and her Mate, Drummer.

One day, Drummer approached Amadala and told her he had been hearing the call of their god to come and serve him. Amadala tried to talk Drummer out of answering Stormcatcher’s call even though it would be disobedient to their god to deny him an answer. This plea did not go unnoticed by Stormcatcher and he was not happy with Amadala. To teach her a lesson, Stormcatcher started calling her offspring as well. He was not a vengeful god, but he did expect obedience and trust from his chosen.

Amadala realized that her pleas to Drummer were not being heard and resigned herself to let Drummer go serve their god. Drummer did not hesitate and immediately answered the call to serve. Saddened by the loss of her Mate, Amadala looked for comfort from her offspring. To her horror, Jeff, Spot, and Greg followed their father and answered the call of Stormcatcher.

Amadala knew that she was being taught a lesson from her god. She knew she was wrong for trying to convince Drummer to disobey Stormcatcher and Amadala immediately repented of her actions and asked for her god’s forgiveness. Stormcatcher was pleased that Amadala recognized her error and being a forgiving god, he set the wheels in motion for her to meet Juniper and find comfort.

Juniper was living with the GoofyC’s Clan of the Pantry Realm at the time when Amadala met him. She was visiting her good friend, Cocoa. Cocoa was one of Amadala's closest friends when they both lived in the Katshepsut's Clan. Amadala could tell Juniper was immediately smitten by her. Not knowing that Amadala’s god, Stormcatcher, was working his magic on them, Juniper began to find reasons to go where Amadala was while she went about visiting his Clan.

Amadala was happy that it seemed her god was smiling down on her again. Looking for a new Consort to give her comfort during her breeding cycle, Amadala had an instant connection with Juniper and was pleased when he offered up himself as her Consort. Amadala welcomed his advances and out of that mating had a lone son, Blackcurrent.

Amadala extended her stay with the Clan she was visiting to bond with her son and strengthen her relationship with Jupiter. While happy that Stormcatcher was once again blessing her with a wonderful life, she still missed Drummer and her offspring she had with him. Intent on honoring her lost Mate, Amadala worked hard to instill in her son's heart that she loved him and would always be there for him.

After a time, Amadala returned to the Katshepsut's Clan and left Blackcurrent to be raised by his father, Juniper, in the ways of the Wind element and teach him how to honor the god, Windsinger, so Blackcurrent’s life would always be blessed and not cursed by his god. She knew only too well disobeying a call from a god would end in tragedy and Amadala did not want that lesson to be learned by her son.

After Blackcurrent grew into an adult, Amadala learned that Juniper chose to leave the Clan and join the Coolrider's Clan to help grow their lair. Amadala makes it a point to visit her son more often since he is now alone in his birth Clan. She knows that Blackcurrent's life will be blessed because the Clan's Leader, Sage, pleases his god, Windsinger, and in return all who live under his tutelage receives great blessings.
