Born a lonely Skydancer with many siblings and a long family history, who felt lost within her family and past relationship that gave her her daughter Zeira, Zeiwen left her clan with her young daughter at her side before meeting with a shade-touched Necromancer on her journey. Learning to find solace in the spirits she saw around her, learning of their pasts and using her powers to help guide them to an eternal rest. Selling her services to clans troubled with the nightly wails of spirits passed on easing the spirits and allowing them to cross over after having settled the last business they had left to cling to, never once using her power to resurrect the dead despite the many pleadings she'd receive. Through her travels, Zeiwen and Zeira crossed paths with a knight seeking help in easing the troubled spirit of his mother. The troubled Skydancer obliged, following him to his clan in the frigid cold looking to earn money to survive on and provide for her child.

The clan she was lead to was wrought with famine, struggling to survive itself, few dragons clinging to what they had left and, to Zeiwen's horror, a majority of the clan's population had perished. Yet, she pressed on, following the knight to where his mother's home lied to find the soul left behind. As Zeiwen worked, she was able to help his mother's soul pass peacefully on. The knight, no longer having a reason to stay in the village began traveling with Zeiwen saying he would protect her as payment for helping his mother to pass on.

However, after a bandit attack on the trio, the knight lay slain after sacrificing himself to save Zeiwen and Zeira. Zeiwen had found herself distraught, she'd formed a bond with the knight and now he lay on the ground motionless. Despite her previous feelings about bringing back the dead, Zeiwen used her magic to raise the knight and breathe life back into his body. He remembered nothing, only his devotion to protect Zeiwen and Zeira. Zeiwen feared he wouldn't be the same, a shell of who he used to be, but as they continued their travels she saw he held the same personality and mannerisms as he did before resurrection. Zeiwen gave him a new name, Sevim, and continued on to find a home where the three could live without persecution. Finally, reaching the Shadowed territory of Kronyx Highlands, she found a home with her lover and daughter where she finally felt like she belonged.
