Her eyelashes drape in white, her irises a fairy blue
With nose angled downward to lips void of color
And cheeks lacking in redness and skin a faded ivory
She is living, but her eyes only stare and her mouth never moves
Her clothes are vibrant gold, shimmering at every curve
It pools at her feet and brings a silent weather
For every drape along her legs and shine in the silk, she is called lovely
Yet she sits in its iridescence and is covered in its layers
Silver crowns her head; alike there is neither two
Rings and bands adorn her, yet in her hands sit a rusted cup
Filled to the brim with water for the eve
She watches it move as if it were the sun
There are those that call her fairy
Other say nymph too
And there are those that ask her, what are you
Though all they do is watch, they deem her fair
One looks through her with a seeing eye
He sees her fine silver and golden clothes as empty
She looks to his face and he only speaks once
