   The Luna Clan Spirit Guardian. Bridge between this world and the next. Most don't believe he resides 100% in this world. He is a benevolent guide. Assisting lost souls on their way to the after life. He came to the Luna clan after hearing rumors of beastclan members going missing near the edges of the shrieking wilds in numbers to great to be simple accidents. As he got closer to location of the disappearances, he could taste the foul tang of necromancy tainting the undercurrents of magic in the area. Upon arriving at the Luna clan, he was told of a large massacre of Snappers the clan had stumbled upon. When shown to the spot of the slaughter, he immediately recognized the signs of a Necromancer's work. But to his confusion, the source of the magic was old and faded. No necromancer had been in this area for months. After careful study of the surrounding area, he found his next clue. The sight of a ritual. The strength of the Neromancer had kept the circle intact for many months, long after the grisly scene would have decayed naturally. A circle of runes, outlined in the intestines of dragons, and the clear taint of the Shade was preset at this site. He recognized this as the new birth of a necromancer. After warning the Luna clan, he offered to stay with them as a protector until the culprit could be found. When Northstar returned to the can, Ryuu immediately saw through the Pearlcatcher's outward demeanor, and correctly accused him of being the necromancer plaguing the area. In the ensuing battle, Northstar was captured and locked away to be dealt with later. With Ryuu's help, the Luna clan was able to find the bodies of Northstar's family and put their souls to rest. However, during the burial, Northstar was able to escape into the shrieking wilds. Ryuu has offered to stay with the Luna clan until Northstar can be captured and done away with. He knows the pearlcatcher is waiting for his chance to strike. He can feel the dark pull of necromancy coming from the depths of the shrieking wilds. He knows he has to do all he can to prevent any lost souls from falling prey to the necromancer's evils. |
