Starshine

The stars have always been seen as objects of beauty, a gentle reminder that sometimes the unknown can be as wondrous as it is terrifying. These faint, glimmering beings bear secrets that inquisitive individuals have been trying to uncover for years. Yet, the stars haven’t given in. So close, yet so far, the stars carry a presence that mocks those who seek their forbidden knowledge.

These stars however, are not immortal.

Sometimes one will wink out, their light eaten away at by the darkness of space. Yet stars do not die peacefully. They fight, struggling with all their might as they come crashing down to the pitiful mortal earth they had been evading for so long. Their life fades, merging with the magic on the planet to form something anew and alive.

Such magic eventually shaped into a draconic entity. The coatl whom emerged from the comet’s shell was a thing from the stars no doubt, yet a group of native dragons invited the creature into their ranks nonetheless.

Starshine was raised as an earth-bound coatl. He followed in the steps of the forefathers, taking up important positions when there were absences, and using his abilities to help further the clan.

Time went on, and the forefathers who cared for him so much were beginning to fade away like the dying star that created him. One by one, their lives slipped through his claws, and Starshine was forced to take up their position.

Eventually, the last of the forefathers passed on, leaving Starshine to manage the clan on his own. Seeing himself as unfit, the coatl has turned to micromanaging as a source of comfort. Regardless of that, Starshine is now currently quite the laid back individual. He tends to embrace ideas of creativity and rationality.

Of course, when Starshine fails to acknowledge the capacity of his own power, his ideals regarding rationality comes to question.

Other Plot/Lore Ideas-
Values creativity, control-freak, laid-back with standards, has a strong liking for order over chaos, tries to be reasonable, can be a little harsh with punishments, doesn't do well with children, unsure of himself, doesn't believe himself to be very powerful/important.
Literally born from the sky, his egg was a comet. Born with special powers- light manipulation and prophecy. Raised by a rag-tag group of social outcasts who later became known as the forefathers (and mothers) of the Wishing Stars Clan. Slowly rose to power through influence and the deaths or absences of the original members. Doesn't believe he is fit- gave his prophetic powers to others within his clan like Fluture and Zida.
