Bloodstone

A bloodstone is a gemstone that is a deep opaque green color(not unlike jade) with red markings on it that range from a rusty scarlet color to a vibrant crimson. Occassionally there are yellow markings on a bloodstone.

Bloodstone has a gift and love for hunting. This is not just because of his forest suiting scales, although they do help, but rather because of the calm and peaceful tranquility that coats the Bogsneak when he is in the hunting state. As anhatvhling, Bloodtone was often bullied as he fell behind in classes, unable to comprehend what he was being taught and left feeling useless and stupid, left feeling like he was the most idiotic dragon in existence.

However.

This feeling was quickly swamped as he realised how at he felt in the hunting lessons. Bloodstone showed outstanding ability in hunting and close combat alike, it was almost as if he could sense his targets movements, as if somewhere within his deep purple eyes, he could tell what was going to happen next. Bloodstone reputation grew rapidly along with his obsession with his skills. He left his clan at a young age, not caring about his academical skills at all. He loved by himself in the forest for months, gaining a beautiful black headdress with long, flowing fur tat kept him warm during the cold months. He visited clans often, for only days at a time to keep his rumoured existence alive.
