My twenty-year-old D&D character's familiar was a black faerie dragon. Of course I had to make him as my first dragon. (Not thrilled with Tomato as a random tertiary, but what do you do.)

Prankster, illusionist, sneak -- Devi has a mean sense of humor. His tricks never cause permanent damage (except to the psyches of the victim), but they certainly lead one to believe that they might. He's also incredibly shy. His den and laboratory are located in the Deep Tunnels where only Fae, Nocturnes, and Spirals can fit. For the most part, other dragons leave him alone when he's in the Deep Tunnels. (Talfryn needs a lot of reassurance.)
