History

Valor first opened her eyes in the Scarred Wasteland next to a large, sickly green Guardian named Torture. The pair bonded quickly and decided to move themselves out of Plague Territory, but not before having three children: Solus, Kiko, and Huntress. During their journey, Torture came down with a deadly and incurable sickness, often called Plaguebringer's Brew due to the green color it turns the infected's skin, and was unable to fight it off. Valor was devastated, the death of her beloved hardening her heart. Soon after Torture's passing, Solus and Kiko caught the disease and decided to travel to the Wyrmwound in order to ask the Plaguebringer herself for a cure. Valor was similarly broken hearted at the departure of her two children, hoping one day that they would return but knowing they would end up joining the Plaguebringer's ranks in return for the cure. Huntress was the sole child that decided to stay with her mother and travel to the Windswept Plateau. Huntress and Valor miraculously were able to avoid the Plaguebringer's Brew during their journey and were able to build up a following of dragons traveling with them.

A smidge of happiness came into Valor's life in the form of one of her more scholarly followers, the Pearlcatcher, Calai. At first, the two very just very close friends. Calai and Valor discovered the Library of Souls, and were the only two dragons to see the contents of the Book of Knowledge. Valor and Calai's relationship became more than just friendship after a month or so living in the Library. Together, they raised three children: Gem, Rowan, and Skylark. All three of the hatchlings decided to go serve the Windsinger. Valor was saddened by the loss of three more of her children, but at this point, her heart was cold enough that she couldn't bear to show her pain. Around this same time, Huntress had fallen in love with her mate, Acero, and had begun sharing a nest with him. Valor saw this as the loss of another child, even if she knew it was bound to happen. Valor vowed not to have anymore hatchlings, irking Calai.

Soon, Valor discovered an ornate statue and ordered it to be taking apart and sold. Calai had suggested that the complete statue would bring in more money than just the jewels, and rebuilt it with help from Acero. Behind her back, Calai and Acero brought the statue to life and introduced it to the clan. It was sent up to Valor, who recognized it instantly. Calai and Acero claimed that they had gone down to work one day and it had been gone, but Valor was skeptical. At this time, Calai and Valor had been arguing constantly, and she had kicked him out of her nest from time to time. She had also discovered that he had fathered hatchlings with other dragons after being kicked out. To Valor, the secret golem had been the last straw in their frayed relationship. Valor had decided to exile Calai from the clan, casting him out. Rumor has it that Calai joined the Windsinger's army at the Cloudsong to find his children. Valor also decided to forbid Acero from having a relationship with Huntress. Both Huntress and Acero resisted the ruling, claiming that their eggs were about to hatch. Valor's cold heart did not relent. Huntress and Acero continue to have a secret relationship, sending their hatchlings to the Windsinger or to Auction House, in order to give them a chance at a normal life, as soon as they are born.

Valor is a tough and cold hearted leader, refusing to let any dragon off lightly when they break a rule. Valor also is very secretive about the Book of Knowledge, saying that it's contents are dangerous to dragon kind. She believes it was written by the Deities long ago and hidden in the Library by ancient dragons to keep Sorienth safe from its teachings. Only she truly knows what it's pages hold.
