Ioan always preferred forests over those of windy peaks, and the Starwood Strand has been his home for a couple of years now. Styried took him in after they found the spiral barely clinging to life, hanging off one of the outer trees. It seemed his body had been afflicted with serious illness. It took him quite a while to recover - but he never actually fully did, as he still easily falls ill to anything that comes in contact with him.
So, he prefers staying cooped up in the lairs cooking areas, making healthy food and learning to make things the others like.. Which has so far been a lot of cooked meat and bugs on sticks. He thinks the clan is rather odd.
When not cooking, he does.. Do some small side work as a smuggler for the Clan's Reifin pirates. Mostly food that they can never find, since he has a book with a lot of off Clan ingredients that are hard to come by. They pay him quite a bit of treasure for each shipment he can get his claws on.
