Backstory: Tamarindo grew up in the tall and windy cliffs of the Reedcleft Ascent. His parents were attentive, though perhaps too teasing. When Tamarindo was learning to fly, the high winds would often toss him cliff to cliff, and they would just watch, laughing non-stop. As Tamarindo grew up, he developed a very thick skin as well as his own, mean, tricky sense of humor. He loved to play jokes and pranks on the other dragons. Unfortunately, this did not make him very popular with the ladies. However, the young wildclaw Uvita arrived, on a visit from her home in the Gladeveins, who not only seemed too tolerate his attitude but match it. Tamarindo ended up chasing her right back to her home with the Clan of the Shaded Wood.

Family: Tamarindo has one son from a previous mate other than Uvita, the handsome Antonio. Antonio and Tamarindo's relationship is often fraught with tension, as their headstrong personalities clash. Antonio also is noticeable jealous of Tamarindo's mate Uvita, and is a long way from being accepting of her.
Tamarindo also has a brother, the wildclaw Atlas, who chose to join the clan alongside him. Though the pair were very distant in their hatchlinghood (especially due to Atlas's wandering nature) they have started to get along more, often arranging hunting trips together or just visiting for dinner.
