"I am only dangerous towards those who are deserving."
SIF
The Battlemaiden | Hunter of Monsters | Honourable Pathogen | Conquering Warlady

Born on the Rotrock Rim, deep in the Scarred Wasteland, Sif has known battle all her life. Fierce and proud of her dedication to the Plaguebringer and her belief of survival of the fittest, she soon outgrew her birthclan and left to wander throughout the Wastes, rising to every challenge she encountered. Unfortunately, she was still a young dragon, and soon learned the hard way how easy it is to underestimate your opponents.

Refusing to die so easily in battle, she was able to escape, and fled south across the Reedcleft Ascent, where she was eventually discovered by Rustwing, who helped carry her back to her clan's lair. There, she was healed by Marudeva, and, grateful for the second chance she'd been given, Sif swore her loyalty to Kuruko's clan. She has defended them against rival dragonclans and raiding Beastclans ever since.

Her time with Kuruko's clan has been quite an experience; learning to adapt to the lifestyle of those who follow the Windsinger took some time, but despite the difficulty, it was not without benefit. She was able to meet many interesting allies, and even cultivated an enjoyable relationship of mutual benefit with dragons like Wildfire and Rowdy. It also gave her plenty of time to train against dragons from all kinds of other clans.

Her skills have grown over the years, and she has become a formidable opponent, not easily challenged by anyone--but when Kuruko's clan ran afoul of a furious harpy flock, even her skill and power was not enough to defend them against their enemy. She was, however, able to lead the Windswept clan back across the Reedcleft Ascent to her birthplace, the Scarred Wasteland. While the rest of the clan has had varying levels of difficulty adjusting to their new surroundings, Sif is exultant to return home once more, and show the Plaguebringer just how strong she has become.

Bold, powerful, fierce, and full of determination, Sif is probably the strongest warrior in the entire clan, and one of their primary defenders against Beastclan attacks and other rival dragonclans. She is extremely loyal, and has a deep sense of honour that is the reason she disdains the idea of fighting those significantly weaker than herself--though it arguably is less about honour and more about the lack of challenge involved. Her belief in the survival of the strongest does not allow for needless cruelty, however, and she takes to those she deems unworthy with an unrivaled fury.

Though she's only slightly shorter than average in length and wingspan, she's quite heavily for a wildclaw due to her densely packed musculature; as a result, she doesn't often fly when she doesn't need to, and this also contributes to her straightforward, full-force frontal attack tactics.

"By the time you knew of my presence,
my arrow would have already found your eye."
ARALYN SWIFTFOOT
The Archer | Huntress of the Beastclan | Centaur Ranger | Merciless Warrior

Born in the Wispwillow Grove of the Tangled Wood, Aralyn has been learning to fight against dragonkind since she was a filly, barely strong enough to draw her bow. Her herd, the Swiftfoots, were one of the many that broke off from the Dunhoof name to turn their skills towards warfare and reclaim the land from the draconic menace, and as Aralyn showed much promise with the bow and arrow from an early age, she quickly became an accomplished scout and ranger, travelling far between herds to deliver messages and track dragonclan movements.

She often spent weeks or even months traveling alone across Sornieth, observing their sworn and hated foe from afar. Though she has been involved in many battles against the wyrms, and has seen their greed and callousness firsthand, she also watched them at their kindest and most vulnerable--those clans who dealt fairly and honourably not only with their own kind, but with other peaceful Beastclans. Those who did not seek to steal from others, but only to build their own in peace. Long periods of isolated contemplation led her to reach her own conclusions, away from the frenzied bloodlust of her own brethren, and Aralyn truly believes that peace can be achieved between Beastclan and Dragonkind, and that the continued existence of dragons will not always mean that they will live in the shadow of monstrous wings.

It's only the wretched ones that need to die.

With this is mind, she has directed her efforts entirely towards gathering intelligence and directing her fellow centaurs and other beastclans against the worst threats of dragonkind, the ones she believes have no place existing on the face of their once-rich world. Once they are eliminated, and the dragon numbers are reduced, perhaps then her brethren will tire of their war and seek peace with the rest of dragonkind.

Until then, she knows her duty to her clan.

Aralyn is serious and calculating, often quiet, and always watching, observing everything that goes on around her. She tends toward caution on the battlefield, preferring to have a plan to act upon and most especially the element of surprise. She has a fondness for peace and quiet, but does not wholly dislike noise and chaos--she does, after all, enjoy battle, she simply does not wish it to define her life. She wants to become strong enough to defend those she cares for and ensure her clan's survival in Sornieth. She respects those who respect her and her kind, but is wary of dragons who have not yet proven themselves to be friends; her trust must be earned, as she has seen too many times what dragons are capable of.
