!f Venice is the clan's honorary grandmother, then Grigori is the weird uncle of the bunch. He's extremely passionate about science and seeks to spread the intrigue, hoping to at some point uncover the scientific phenomenon that denizens of Sornieth refer to as magic. In the meantime, he serves as the clan's most experienced alchemist, and has been working closely with Baldwin since before he joined the clan. He was the first Bogsneak Freida had ever encountered in her life, and he took her wariness and intrigue with humor.
The first dragon Grigori truly bonded with in the clan was Markelle, the clan's healer. His quirky nature helped to bring her out of his shell a bit, and he was entranced by her gentle nature. He worked closely with her and sought to brew new medicines to accompany her healing magic, and through their union emerged a partnership. However, Grigori's love of science shifted to a laser-like focus on his true passion, alchemy, upon the arrival of other science-savvy clan members. He stopped spending as much time with the Skydancer, especially when she found herself more focused with herbal healing and magical properties, and the two drifted apart. They remain friendly, but it still hurts them both when they wish to speak but have nothing to say.
