Exiled from the nest at a young age due to the fact that his species believe that Coatl who are naturally born with dull coloring are regarded as bad omens and because of this they are often exiled from nests to protect the rest of the clutch from catching illness or ill luck. This is because Coatls who are deathly ill have a white coloring. Blue was one of those who were exiled for the fear of catching an 'illness'. The reason such colored Coatl are exiled from the nests are that Coatl are supposed to have bright, colorful plumage. After being exiled from the nest he was put in the auction house and bought by a dragon named Yuki.

After some time Blue and some other dragons that were in Yuki's clan were given to ShadowFlame. Due to the fact that Blue cannot understand Estelle, he is thankful of Crystal and PoisonClaw helping him understand the Fae dragon.

Blue and ShadowBeam are the parents of SilverAqua, ObsidianSea, and BlackOrca. ShadowBeam is a dragon who is apart of Anasia's clan in the CrystalPine Reaches. Due to this AliceBlue takes his kids their to see their mother.

Because of this AliceBlue and Crystal take Rose and Eldan to the Viridian Labyrinth for them to visit. Crystal hopes for their visits to be a bonding experience for her son Eldan and Rose.



AliceBlue is thankful that she was raised despite their coloring and that they did not fall into the hands of the WildClans, who steal eggs of their kind and recruit abandoned Coatls to fight against Dragonkind.
