Pthonus is the lax and somewhat neglectful leader of the clan. Being primarily made up of a random assortment of nomadic dragons, the need for a stricter governing role has been so far unrealized, but Pthonus' stoic but commanding demeanor results in him often being the one to break up fights, settle arguments, and make decisions. The other clan members respect him and mostly regard him as their leader, though all he wants to do is take a nap in some peace and quiet. He has no idea how he became unlucky enough to suddenly be in charge of this group of idiots.

His duties mainly include protecting the clan from threats by chasing off any large predators, and solving disputes brought to him by the members of the clan, though he's rolling his eyes while he does so. He prefers being alone and is honestly annoyed with the clan's dependence on him, but the more aloof he acts the more everyone else just think's he's really cool and mysterious.

Pthonus, after being stricken by a scale-shedding skin disease, took on a nomadic lifestyle, leaving his homeland. Using his intimidating appearance, he survived mainly through scavenging meals and chasing smaller predators away from their kills. On his journey through the Wastelands, he gained scavengers of his own, a small pack of Mirrors who would tag along and grab scraps of his meals. This was the foundation of the clan, Pthonus being a reluctant party in its beginnings. He's come to accept his role as the somewhat informal leader of the group.
