Biography
Larix (either Laer-iks or Laar-iks, name of the genus of conifer trees)
Larix might at first glance seem villainous, and you might be right. He's a thoroughly cunning dragon with a whispery, grating voice and very, very fast. His bright yellow eyes seem to glow in the dark corners he'll often tuck away in. He's quiet and doesn't say much, leading most to believe he's always plotting something. At his core, Larix has a good heart and good intentions, though his methods may seem sometimes cruel or downright rude. He is fiercely protective of his Matriarch and makes a great show of it if she is ever threatened or hurt (deep down it's because he wants to win her favor and become her mate and the clan's Patriarch).
He acts as one of the clan's satellite group scouts, making sure the way ahead is safe for travel and that shady characters keep their distance. Should he find an impending ambush, he speeds right back to the clan and alerts them of danger to allow for preparations.
