Blair

Blair has always been the adventurous one. His first adventure started mere minutes after he was born, where he escaped the watchful eyes of the hatchery and hatchling caretakers, Cotton and Ira, while they tended to his younger sister and big baby brother. He crawled along the ground, careful not to make too much noise in the dark underbrush of the Tangled Woods, until he felt confident no one was looking for him. Now alone, surrounded by darkness, he started to feel a little scared. He looked around, the wind rattled the bare and sparsely leaved branches above. A small swarm of Glowbugs fluttered past, dancing in the wind. Blair followed, captivated, tripping over twigs and roots until something else caught his eye. A light, much brighter than the Glowbugs, flickered in the distance between the trees. He ran towards it. The light grew bigger and brighter with each step until he was enveloped in it. Blindness. Blair held his hand out to shield his eyes. Then he saw it. A vast white plain as far as he could see. To any other dragon it would have looked bleak and desolate, but Blair stood there in awe. Then something far out in the distance caught his eye. What he saw was a group of dragons. Ready for adventure, he rushed out to meet them.

Blair wondered into the Wasteland, where he met with a very eclectic bunch of dragons. The clan had seen many adventurous dragons pass through, so were eager to hear all about his travels so far. They gave him food and a small tour of the area. A few of them even taught him how to knit himself a scarf, in case he wound up anywhere cold. Blair enjoyed his short time with the clan, but the road was calling and he was itching to see more of the world. He thanked them for their time and headed back out, wondering where he would end up next.
