B I O G R A P H Y

Salve, terrae magicae

______ Hecate is a scholar, student and master of, what she calls, The Mystical Arts. She is a vain, proud dragon. Taking great pride in her magical abilities and studies. That being said, Hecate's heart is in the right place. She believes that magic should be used to better the lives of those around a magic user and not used for frivolous or self interest activities.

Currently she resides with Nerio's pack, only because Erro, the oldest and most experienced magic user in the clan, is part of the pack. Hecate enjoys picking Erro's vast knowledge of magic, learning from her and supplementing her own studies. Erro is also the only magic user in the clan that Hecate gets along with or even likes spending time with.

______ As a magical scholar, Hecate is driven by great curiosity and a strong sense of duty. To her, magic is an Art, a Craft. It requires focus, determination and practice, practice, practice. Hecate works hard to better herself as a Sorceress. Magic is not a game or a plaything to her. It is a higher calling. To do for others what they cannot do for themselves.

Of all the magic users in the clan, Hecate remains the most upset with Dai. Ezili, Taika and Talus have her ire as well, but not to the same degree Dai does. To Hecate it is a grave offense to be gifted with both the ability to use magic and the training to use it well. And then NOT USE IT. Dai not only doesn't use his abilities or training but is famous for flaunting that. Nothing drives Hecate further up the wall. It's like claws on the chalkboard of her soul.
